[O02-P60] A Study in the Climate Change in the Period 1801 - 1889
- through the observation of annual rings of a pine tree -

*Ryuto Fujibayashi1 (1.Ehime Prefectural Imabari East Secondary Education School)

Keywords:annual ring, climate, growth factor

A tree has an annual rings. So, counting the annual rings of the tree, you can learn its age. Also, by measuring the width of the annual rings of them, you can learn how much it grows each of year. It will depend on the environment surrouding the tree. Therefore, in years of good climate conditions, the width becomes larger. On the other hand in bad climate conditions, it becomes smaller. When the annual ring is made by the study of the correlation between the annual rings width and climate factor. This is the report about the result of my study.
