*Murayama Haruna1, *Jou Asuka1, *Sezaki Kanon1 (1.High School Attached to Osaka Kyoiku University (Tennoji Campus))

Keywords:salt damage, soil improvement, calcium compound, germination rate

Once soils become damaged with salt by tsunami, plants and vegetables do not grow well. From some papers, we learned that calcium compounds can improve the salt damaged soil. So we became interested in which calcium compound and how much was the most effective way to improve the salt damaged soil. In this research, we grew radish sprouts with the salt damaged soil and researched how effected on its germination and length of stems and roots when we added three kinds of calcium compounds. Also, we tried whether other compounds could improve the salt damaged soil.
