Keywords:Kurobegawa, granite, zircon

The youngest granite on the Earth is exposed in the west of Omachi, Nagano. 0.8 Ma granite is the youngest among the previous studies (Ito et al., 2013) and located at the center of the Kurobegawa Granite block. With the aim of finding much younger granite, we collected granite samples at Okukozawa in Ogisawa area, the southeastern part of the Kurobegawa Granite block, and separated zircons from them for U-Pb dating.
