Keywords:Visual dialogue, Science communication, Visual facilitation

In order to create progress in a research, it does not only require the co-operation between researchers but also the “dialogue and co-creation” with multi-stakeholder such as citizen, government, enterprises and media. However, it is not easy for them from diverse backgrounds to communicate and work together.

Therefore, the author has developed a program so that the researchers themselves can visualize the research contents and future image, and a program that has been practiced in research organizations to help the research collaborations go faster and more efficiently.
What was clarified through these efforts is that visualization does not merely make expressing one’s idea clearly more effectively. Moreover, it helps deepening the researchers’ thoughts, and promotes the co-creation through Visual Dialogue, which is different from linguistic dialogue.
In this presentation, by showing these examples, I would like to seek for the possibility of collaboration using the power of art and design.
