[PEM18-03] Electromagnetic interaction between currents flowing in the ionospheric and ocean

*Masahiko Takeda1 (1.Data Analysis Center for Geomagnetism and Space Magnetism, Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University)

Keywords:geomagnetic variation, ionosphere, ocean, electromagnetic induction, electric conductivity, UT variation

Induced currents flowing in the ionosphere and land-ocean shell induced by the external magnetic field variation were estimated for the P10 mode including the effects of the mutual induction. It was shown that the currents shows UT variation due the land-ocean distribution for the period of less than 10 min. Induced currents by other modes will be will be considered in the presentation.
