We propose "history of record" for visualization of history of each record in the collection of records on historical earthquakes and historical volcanic eruptions. An example is shown in Fig.2 of Hattori and Nakanishi (2018). The record in the figure is entitled "Large earthquake and eruption of Mt. Fuji", and describes the 1703 Genroku Kanto earthquake, 1707 Hoei earthquake, and 1707 Hoei eruption of Mt. Fuji.
