Airborne magnetic survey was conducted with the aim of obtaining information on geological structure that can be utilized for volcanic disaster prevention in the northeastern foot of Mt. Fuji volcano where side volcanoes including Mt. Omuro are concentrated.

From the measurement data, a high resolution magnetic anomaly map was created and a 3D inversion method was applied to estimate the 3D magnetization intensity distribution up to the depth of 1 km. The results were compared with existing geological information.

Here we report on these results.
