Hydrological Research Letters (HRL) is an open access journal published jointly by Japan Society of Hydrology and Water Resources (JSHWR), Japanese Association of Groundwater Hydrology (JAGH), Japanese Association of Hydrological Sciences (JAHS), and Japanese Society of Physical Hydrology (JSPH), aiming at rapid exchange and outgoing of information in these fields. It was first published in July of 2007 by JSHWR as SUISUI Hydrological Research Letters, and then renamed Hydrological Research Letters. Joint publishing started April, 2017. In this presentation, we show current status of number of submissions, citations, and time for handling as well as ways forward.
