[A-GE30] Conservation and Restoration of Soil Environment at Terrestrial Surface
Tue. May 28, 2019 1:45 PM - 3:15 PM 202 (2F)
convener:Yasushi Mori(Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science, Okayama University), Chairperson:Yasushi Mori(Okayama University)
Soil is the largest store of carbon of all terrestrial media. Soils also have important functions such as water storage and plant support roles. However, at present, these characteristics do not fully function, because of mismanagement of the field or climate-change-induced heavy rainfall would wash away the organic-rich surface soils. In this session, soil environment research, from soil conservation to restoration technique for degraded soils are welcomed.
