[M-IS19] Paleoclimatology and paleoceanography

Wed. May 29, 2019 1:45 PM - 3:15 PM 304 (3F)

convener:Yusuke Okazaki(Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Graduate School of Science, Kyushu University), Akira Oka(Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, The University of Tokyo), Michinobu Kuwae(Center for Marine Environmental Studies), Hitoshi Hasegawa(Faculty of Science and Technology, Kochi University), Chairperson:Michinobu Kuwae(愛媛大学沿岸環境科学研究センター)

Past environmental changes and events at multi-decadal to tectonic timescale toward an understanding of Earth climate system by an integration of terrestrial and marine proxy studies and numerical modeling will be discussed. At JpGU2019, a series of presentations on present and future climate and environmental changes from paleo-perspective will be held. We welcome a variety of paleo-environmental studies from a wide range of background. We hope that this session will provide an opportunity to promote communication between participants from multidisciplinary field.
