[AOS17-03] Bio-chemilcal difference between the large meander and the non case of the Kuroshio current
Keywords:Kuroshio
Since 2001, FRA has set up a regular monitoring line, called O-line north and south along 138E off Omaezaki south of Japan and has been conducting the monitoring four or five times a year until now. O-line, the monitoring line was named after Omaezaki City, which is near the starting point of the line. The line has been mainly conducted by the National Research Institute of Fisheries Science and has been carried out for the measure of water temperature, salinity, nutrient, some phytoplankton and zooplankton. In this presentation, the bio-chemical difference on the line between the large meandering case and the non case of the Kuroshio current has been focused on.
