The circulation of food in closed environments will be important for achieving long-term habitation in extraterrestrial environments. Production of effective chemicals in crops grown under extraterrestrial environments would be very different from grown on Earth. We will discuss the possibility of local production and consumption of crops in extraterrestrial environments.
