Keywords:large scale landslide, geopark, geoconservation

There are many mountainous area in Japanese islands. In mountainous area, many natural hazards occured. Visualization of landslide is necessary in order to understand the slope process in the mountains to non-experts. At Mt. Kurikoma Mountain area Geopark, we have been engaged in conservation of large-scale landslide landform, education and information dissemination activities. In order to preserve the landslide phenomenon which is the cause of the slope disaster, a scientific understanding of the landform is necessary. Furthermore, it is necessary to restructure the view of nature of the concerned parties.
