[MIS08-P01] The efforts of Mt.Daisetsu-Kamuymintar Geopark Project

In this area, we are promoting the "Mt.Daisetsu-Kamuymintar Geopark Project" ranging from Asahikawa City, Takasu Town, Higashikagura Town, Pippu Town, Tohma Town, Aibetsu Town, Kamikawa Town and Higashikawa Town.
We set up a preparatory organization by authorized municipalities and civil society in 2017, As an aiming area we joined the Japan Geopark Network as an associate member, in the background of resident activities such as "Kamuy's Earth" Geo-Tour and Geo-Forum etc. that "Association of Asahikawa Geoparks" has been doing since 2012.
We have been shifted promotion system to a council added by business organizations and others in August 2018.
In this presentation, we introduce Mt.Daisetsu-Kamuymintar Geopark Project and its efforts.
