Since 1994 groundwater level has been observed at the Kusanagi observation well. Changes in groundwater level associated with the middle – large local earthquakes and the large distant earthquakes were observed. All groundwater level changes associated with these earthquakes were increase. The relationship between these changes in groundwater level and distant and local earthquakes in these 20 years is discussed.
