Publication of general books (books for general readers) is a way of outreach. We analysed recent general books of geography, on the point of writer’s profession (researchers, teachers, others, etc.), their’s contents, and those relationships.
Reserchers write geoscience, including physical geography. Middle and high school teachers, write whole contents of geography (general geography), which they learn in middle and high school. Writers as side business didn’t write geoscience and general geography, they wrote especially on excursion.
