Keywords:lifelong education, field work, seeds, geology, geomorphology, local study

Lifelong learning is a new education conceptualized in 1960’s and focused recently on local development. I conducted a class on lifelong learning for university students of business and economy courses. Two-days field work included contents of local history, culture, industry and nature, and emphasized an influence of geology and geomorphology to human activities. Geology and geomorphology are seeds of lifelong learning. This presentation reports an outline of field work and university students’ evaluation.
