Keywords:Future Earth, SDGs, sustainability, human geoscience, disaster, environmental problem

Global environmental programmes are re-organized under the framework of Future Earth, which is intend to play a leading role in guiding or coordinating world research communities for sustainability. Human geoscience, which has been built on geoscience which studies dynamic nature and phenomena of the Earth including its resources, geo-hazards and environmental changes, is uniquely committed to human sphere, where human, the environment, environmental problems and disasters are, and to the world sustainability. It hence has strong human/social scientific, as well as physical scientific, viewpoint, and assumes important roles in Future Earth, SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and other programmes for global sustainability or disaster risk reduction. This session is intended to discuss crucial issues related with them, and to seek right ways to implement needed integrated research for sustainable future in human geoscience perspective.
