[HCG33-01] Closed bio-ecosystems in extraterrestrial environments-Research in closed bio-ecosystems

*Kaori Tomita-Yokotani1 (1.Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences University of Tsukuba)

Keywords:closed bio-ecosystems, extraterrestrial environments, food

Researchers in this session have been studying useful life-support systems in closed bio-ecosystems since 2011. The final goal of our studies is to inhabit in extraterrestrial environments. There are various field of research related to biological and technical systems in closed systems. We have to have discussions with the researchers from a wide range of ages because our results will be inherited by the next generation. Here, I will introduce our session’s outline and the contents of individual presentation. This year, we will focus on food for humans. The results of our discussions will contribute to our goal.
