National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) accumulates various observation data about space in each research group. Some of these data are disclosed on the website. In order to promote the utilization of this data, we have planned the Hackaston event "SpaceHack 2019”. Hackathon is a collective term for events that creates systems and applications in a short period of about a few days, and is held numerous by voluntary organizations, companies, local governments, and so forth. SpaceHack 2019 recruited general participants outside NICT and held for two days. On the first day, after explaining the event overview and explaining the available data, we implement ideason to brush up ideas among participants. Based on the results of Ideason, articipants form a team develop until the afternoon on the second day. After the development, presentation, review, and recognition are carried out. SpaceHack provides participants with cloud system for scientific research “Science Cloud”, high speed R&D network testbed “JGN” and large scale emulation testbed “StarBED”. In our presentation, we will report the summary of SpaceHack 2019 and discuss the possibility of promoting data utilization through Hackathon.
