In the IODP Exp. 367 voyage in the South China Sea, I certified several floating foraminiferal biostratigraphy from the core catcher sample in shipboard analysis when I carried on research as a micro-paleontologist. I finished the voyage and brought the sample home and examined the more detailed chronology using buoyant foraminiferal fossils based on the samples obtained from the excavated U 1499 core.
