[MIS20-P17] Drainage from glacial lake in Achinathang village, Ladakh Range on 4 August 2017

In the Achinatan valley of the Ladak Range, located in the northwestern part of India, a large debris flow occurred on August 4, 2017. In this disaster, this debris flow caused four victims and serious damages such as a complete collapse of bridge and field. In this study, we tried to clarify the details of drainage from glacial lake and development of debris flow in the Achinatan valley from field survey (2017-2018) and satellite image analysis.
