Keywords:Space-based technology, Sentinel Asia, QZSS, Early warning message platform, Transboudary disaster

Space-based Technology contributes DRR field via Sentinel Asia. It provides near real-time observations from space, delivered online, can be used as early warning, as well as information to guide response and post-disaster recovery planning or operations. Eight space agencies in Asia are providing satellite data to Asian countries for emergency response, mapping, evaluation, and recovery. Furthermore, Michibiki, a kinds of GPS satellite developed by Japan has avility to disseminate early warning message through the local speakers and smartphones.
