Buratamori is a popular NHK-TV program featuring a famous talent, Mr. Tamori, who visits various localities and tries to solve subjects about origins of local natural and social sceneries, products, and sightseeing resources. Many geoscientists, biologists, archeologists, historians, and other natural and social scientists appear as guides and lead Mr. Tamori to a final answer for each round of the program. The involving scientists do not only play touring guides but also make much efforts as advisors for selection of localities and contents. They also propose experiments showing natural processes and check scenarios, narration, and explanatory CG animations etc. The author reports experience as one of the geoscientific guides for the Buratamori and considers about how to explain complicated scientific knowledge simply, comprehensibly, and enjoyably.
