Buratamori produced by NHK contributes especially to geoscientific outreach and lifelong education for leaning on various geographical and geological topics. Such geoscientific topics related seamlessly with other contents on history, biology, agricultural and engineering sciences. Seamless geoscientific stories (geostories) are also produced in geoparks as a method for geoconservation, geotourism and geoscience education. Geostories require well-selected and arranged contents targeting historical, vertical and/or horizontal phenomena based primarily on many geoscientific evidences. Much many Japanese geoscientists also watch Buratamori because various topics are interpreted by many specialists on geography and geology. Geoscientists interest scientific evidences and interpretations on each specialties, and multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary relationships to other disciplines. Comprehensive and seamless stories of Buratamori enhance educational effects as a methodology for outreach and science communications, which are supported by geoscientific knowledges of many scientists, directors, producers and Mr. Tamori.
