[O03-P44] Color of the moon at the umbra lunar eclipse

*Koudai Fujino1, *Kotaro Saito1, *Yoshiki Kujiraoka1, *Hyate Doi1, *Ibuki Yasuda1 (1.Saitama Prefectural Urawa High School)

Keywords:Umbra lunar eclipse, Turquoise fringe

It is well known that the moon in the lunar eclipse is not dark and looks reddish. Because the area around the edge of umbra appears in blue in the photo, it is called "turquoise fringe". However, this effect may have been emphasized by image processing. Then, we conducted spectrum observation and found that the color of umbra doesn’t verge on turquoise but white.
