[O05-01] Giving a successful presentation in English: Mission Possible!

As with all skills, delivering a successful presentation requires painstaking effort. For people presenting in their second (or third) language, the task is even more daunting because it requires detailed attention to each spoken word. This presentation aims to help presenters of all levels, from the beginner to the seasoned expert, deliver easy to understand and effective public speeches. We will first look at common mistakes made in delivering oral presentations, then look at proposed ways to prepare and deliver quality speeches. A special emphasis will be placed on effective techniques to use in English presentations given by non-native presenters. Attendees will learn how to use body language, effective visuals, and story telling to deliver quality presentations.
