In the geopark, it is necessary to positively transmit the geoscientific appeal of the area. However, in Japan, many people are not sufficiently educated about geology. Therefore, it is very important task to communicate about the geological phenomena to the citizen easily.

Model experiments are one effective means to tell phenomena difficult to express in words easily. Several activities have been conducted to deepen understanding of geology through model experiments. "The kitchen volcano experiments" is an example of a typical model experiment. Experiments that can easily model geological phenomena and convey it are essential communication tools for the dissemination of geoparks and educational activities.

In this presentation, I will give some examples of experiments to model and convey complex geological phenomena. I will propose the effect of dissemination activities through experiments and how to utilize the experiment in geopark.
