★Invited Papers
Keywords: open access, e-journal , Progress in Earth and Planetary Science
Progress in Earth and Planetary Science (PEPS) is our official scientific journal established in April 2014 with 51 society members by partnership with Springer. 5 years have passed. This is an English-language peer-reviewed open access e-journal under a collaboration with Springer-Nature. The journal is to be devoted to original articles and reviews (>20%) in the research fields of space and planetary sciences; atmospheric and hydrospheric sciences; human geosciences; solid earth sciences; and bio-geosciences.
In June, 2018, PEPS got the first Impact factor of around 2.48. Now we are taking effective steps (measures) and then hope to get higher IF, around 3, in 2019, hopefully.
JpGU will make an effort to promote the journals which have been published by Japanese Geoscience Societies, taking part in JpGU, including EPS.
