[U05-10] Construction of the Cooperative Research Infrastructure for Intelligent Muography in Earth and Planetary Sciences, Other Sciences, and Society

★Invited Papers

*Hiroyuki Tanaka1 (1.Earthquake Research Institute, the University of Tokyo)

Keywords:muography

Since 10 years ago when Japan first used muography to visualise the internal structure of volcanoes for the first time (with elementary particle originated in the universe), this technique has been evolving. In 2019, at least 7 ventures were generated in Canada, Finland, France, Israel, Spain, UK, and USA. Japan still holds the technological initiative in this field, and based on this advantageous position, we will construct the cooperative research infrastructure for intelligent muography in earth and planetary sciences, other sciences, and society by adding the artificial intelligent function.
