[U07-01] Seismotectonic environments and landscape as keys to mitigate the impacts from unexpected hazards

*Koji Okumura1 (1.Graduate School of Letters, Hiroshima University)

Keywords:seismotectonics, geology, geomorphology

Even if we know little about the hazards that may occur at certain location, the geologic envieonments and landscape may tell us the risks. They are seismotectonic enveironments and landscapes. Since people contact with geologic and geomorphic environments and landscapes very often, they will be useful keys to understand the risks from natural hazards in that location. The environments and landscapes of the 2018 June 16 Osaka-hokub earthquakes and 2018 September 6 Hokkaido Iburi Tobu earthquakes will be discussed.
