[ACG60-01] Summary of future projection and downscaleing studies in SI-CAT project
The Social Implementation Program on Climate Change Adaptation Technology (SI-CAT) has been a five-year project since FY 2015 that can be widely used in the study and formulation of climate change response measures implemented by local governments throughout Japan. Among the projects, the there are seveal results of research and development on various climate change projection and downscaling, such as general-purpose downscaling for assessing impacts throughout Japan and customized downscaling to meet the special needs of model municipalities. In this presentation, we will summarize the research and development at SI-CAT and introduce the results of co-design and co-production conducted by climate model downscaling researchers and impact assessment researchers based on the needs of local governments.
