convener:Yosuke Alexandre Yamashiki(Earth & Planetary Water Resources Assessment Laboratory Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability Kyoto University), Yukio Masumoto(Graduate School of Science, The University of Tokyo), Swadhin Behera(Climate Variation Predictability and Applicability Research Group, Application Laboratory, JAMSTEC, 3173-25 Showa-machi, Yokohama 236-0001), Takanori Sasaki(Department of Astronomy, Kyoto University)

[AOS25-12] Bioparticle deposition at a stratospheric altitude

*Kenji Miki1 (1.Tokyo Institute of Technology Earth-Life Science Institute)

Keywords:stratosphere, astrobiology, bioaerosol

Understanding the dynamics of a bioparticle in the stratosphere is important to discuss astrobiological subjects such as the possibility of panspermia or the survivability of microbes in an extraterrestrial environment. In this presentation, the motion of a particle controlled by the gravity, air resistance, solar light pressure, the gravitational effect from the sun, and the photophoresis force with various diameters, densities, and drop heights will be discussed.
