Under such circumstances, the "Second School Safety Promotion Plan," which was approved by the Cabinet on March 24, 2017, included "Enhancing school safety in staff training and teacher preparation" as a measure to promote school safety. Enhancement "is stated. In-service teachers are required to ensure that all teachers have the necessary qualifications and skills related to school safety at each career stage. In the training of teachers at universities, "Correspondence to school safety" has been newly added to the contents of the teaching profession course from the students who entered in 2019. "Response to school safety" is included in the "Social, Institutional or Management Matters related to Education" in the core curriculum of the teaching profession, and as a general goal, it is based on the actual situation of incidents, accidents and disasters that occur under school management. " Each university received the examination and certification of the teaching profession course in 2018, and new students have begun taking new teaching profession courses in 2019. In this presentation, we report the current situation of in-service teacher training on school safety, the history of making school safety mandatory in teaching profession courses at universities, and practical examples.
