[G02-05] Disaster prevention education for students aiming for teaching profession: Case study at Saitama University

At Saitama University, a lecture titled in “Natural Disasters and Disaster Prevention Education” was launched with the reorganization of the Faculty of Education in 2015. Although the number of students was small in the beginning, about 50 students from a wide range of course register the class recently. Thus, the ways for proceed with the lectures are necessary to be considered the importance of flexible thinking and independent participation in classes. The present paper introduces the content of the class to find fruitful communication for education on disaster prevention.
