Keywords:Geoscience education, GSI Maps, flooding, teaching materials

Serious floods are frequent in Japan. Last year, there were floods in various places due to Typhoon No.19. The Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) has taken emergency photographs of aerial photographs and made Provisional Inundation Depth Map for such floods. They were promptly provided to relevant agencies for disaster response. They were also made public through GSI Maps.
The author thought that such disaster information would be useful for earth science education in high schools and universities, and presented it in JpGU Meeting 2018. Later, the content was introduced at a textbook company briefing session and a study group for educators.
This time, the same study was conducted in the case of last year's flood. As a result, it was confirmed that good teaching materials could be created. In addition, the procedure for the creation was also considered. In this presentation, I will introduce the cases (teaching materials) examined this time. I would also like to talk about the procedure for preparing the teaching materials that I considered.
