[G04-P05] Practice report of geological excursion for elementary school students using terrain model made by 3-D printer

In the geological excursion, teaching topographic character in the area is important, because topographic image provides geological history in the area. However, understanding topographic demands reading topographic map, which is difficult for elementary students. In order to solve this problem, we made relief map using 3-D printer.
In this practice, ten elementary students joined to the geological excursion. Relief maps were prepared for each students using 3-d printer.
Questionnaire survey provide after excursion suggest followings.
(1) Although participant’s school locate in the excursion course, they didn't realize topographic feature of this area.
(2) Participants realize topographic feature after this excursion.
