[HTT19-05] A study on utilization rate from the viewpoint of the relationship between block park and surrounding area

The current city park is a space for recreation of people, the formation of a good urban landscape, the improvement of the urban environment, the improvement of urban disaster prevention, the securing of biodiversity, etc. It is used by people as a city facility with various functions.Since the 1980s, the number of children playing outside has been decreasing, mainly due to the spread of video games, personal computers, and mobile phones. It has been pointed out that children playing indoors have a weakened relationship with people and lack of communication.In this study, people actively participate in a familiar park, which is one of the communication spaces of modern people. Aiming at a proposal for a park design to be used for the city, we investigated the ease of use focusing on the connection with the city.
