[MGI40-11] From post-K Exploratory Challenge to Acceleration program for Fugaku output generation: Unified view from cosmology to planets

*Junichiro Makino1 (1.Kobe University)

Keywords:High Performance Computing, Computational Science

For the last four years, as one of research project for post-K supercomputer, "Exploratory Challenge 3 Elucidation of the Birth of Exoplanets and the Environmental Variations of Planets in the Solar System" has been run. The post-K supercomputer (now named Fugaku) is almost complete, and its general use will be started around the end of FY2020. In the meantime, the followup program for the Exploratory Challenge has been started, and our proposal, which aims at the unified view from cosmological structure formation to planetary surface environment variation, has been selected. I'll overview the goals and research plan for this project.
