[MIS24-08] Snow patch collapse at Hakuba-Daisekkei in northern Hida Mountains

We investigated the shape of the bedrock at the bottom of the Hakuba-Daisekkei using the GPR, in order to identify the location where has risk of collapse in the Hakuba-Daisekkei. We also conducted multitemporal monitoring of Hakuba-Daisekkei using the SfM software in order to observe the precursory phenomenon of collapse. In addition, we considered the mechanism of snow patch collapse from the results of GPR and photographic surveying.
