[MIS28-P07] Sunspot Observation before 1945 in Nagashima Aiseien
Keywords:Sunspot
At Nagashima Aiseien, a national Hansen's disease sanatorium, Issei Yamamoto, the first director of the Kwasan Observatory at Kyoto University, performed a comforting performance in 1941, and the observatory was established in the sanatorium. Astronomical and meteorological observation were done here. Sketches of sunspot observation was one of them. Yamamoto's materials have been deposited at the Kwasan Observatory, where the exchange between Yamamoto and Aiseien is described. Yamamoto is the person who created the foundation of amateur astronomy in Japan that continues to the present day. This is one of the suggestions for understanding how to be.
