[O04-P03] Predict future tyhoons with statistics

*Atsushi Kobayashi1 (1.Yashiro High School)

In recent years , I feel that typhoons have caused enormous damage in Japan.I was wondering how the typhoons have changed. So, I created statistical data such as the number of typhoons and their power from some typhoon data.As a result, it was found that the number of typhoons was decreasing and their power was increasing little by little.Convection, which is one of the factors that causes typhoon, is less likely to occur, and the amount of water vapor above the sea has increased. I think that global warming caused these, which affected the results.Global warming is now considered ongoing. Therefore, the number of future typhoons may decrease and their power may increase.
