Keywords:Aso UNESCO Global Geopark, Spring water, Electrical conductivity

Spring water is one of the important components of Aso UNESCO Global Geopark. We made an education program for local community to have more understandings on spring water of Aso Geopark.

Aso Geopark has 3 kinds of spring water depending on electrical conductivity; spring water around the caldera wall about 10 mS/m, spring water around the foot of central cones about 30 mS/m, and hot spring water more than 100 mS/m. These waters have different relation with Aso volcanic system.

We made educational programs how to understand the difference of electrical conductivity of spring waters; at first for high school students, and for kids and citizens later. We introduce our program briefly. We have to express thanks to Kyushu Geopark Network.
