Taiwan Radio Occultation Process System (TROPS) is a Taiwan-built data process system has developed by National Space Organization (NSPO), Taiwan Analysis Center for COSMIC (TACC), and GPS Science and Application Research Center (GPSARC). Presently, TROPS is used for data processing of FORMOSAT-7/COSMIC-2 (F-7/C-2) mission, which contains six low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and launched in late June, 2019. F-7/C-2 is the follow on mission of FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC (F-3/C) mission, which also contains six LEO satellites to receive GPS signal for RO observation. F-3/C mission can provide around 1000 electron density profiles of ionosphere. F-7/C-2 mission can provide around 2000 electron density profiles of ionosphere due to F-7/C-2 satellites not only receive GPS signal but also GLONASS signal. In this study, the data performance and the validation results of preliminary ionospheric retrieve results of TROPS for F-7/C-2 will be presented.
