On 3rd January 2019, China’s Chang’e-4 (CE-4) lunar probe successfully landed on the Von Kármán crater on lunar far-side and deployed Yutu-2 rover. The Von Kármán crater is located in the highly-cratered terrain within the South Pole-Aitken (SPA), indicating the CE-4 landing site has experienced complex emplacement sequences of both near and distant ejecta materials. This complicates the interpretation of CE-4 surface in-situ measurements of the Visible and Near Infrared Spectrometer (VNIS) and Lunar Penetrating Radar (LPR) onboard Yutu-2 rover. In order to evaluate the sources and amounts of all considerable (> 10 cm in thickness) ejecta materials on the landing site of Chang’e-4, we thoroughly examine the ejecta delivered by all crater-forming events possibly occurred later than the formation of mare unit within Von Kármán crater in this study. We find a total of 20 craters throughout the Moon may deliver unneglectable ejecta (> 10 cm in thickness) superposed on the mare units of the landing site of Chang’e-4 and confirm that the ejecta from Finsen crater is the most dominant foreign materials, followed by the ejecta of Von Kármán L.
