[PPS07-P23] Observational campaigns of (3200) Phaethon in 2017-2019
Keywords:Asteroids, (3200) Phaethon, (155140) 2005UD
The asteroid (3200) Phaethon is the flyby target of the DESTINY+ mission. Generally flyby missions requires a detail investigation of the flyby targets for the mission planning and instrument design. Thus, ground-based observations for the flyby targets have important roles for leading the mission success.
We have investigated (3200) Phaethon and related objects by ground based observations from 2017 to 2019. We organized observation campaigns every year : for Phaethon in 2017, for (155140) 2005UD, which is a possible fragment from Phaethon, in 2018, and again for Phaethon to determine the size by occultation observations in 2019.
Our presentation will show the observational results of Phaethon and 2005UD, which were updated every year, and also the observation plan next several years.
