In order to clarify the formation process of magnetic stripes and structure under a sea-floor spreading center at the divergent plate boundary, we are performing an on-land geo-electromagnetic research project in Afar Depression, Ethiopia, where we can investigate into a subaerial sea-floor spreading center directly. We will show the outline of our project, and report our research activities in 2016-2019 fieldworks and preliminary results.
