Today's Open Science movement is to re-consider research outputs (papers, data etc.), in particular in the form of digital information in this era with the Internet infrastructure. Traditional styile, culture and scholarly community norm of conducting scientific research, publishing research outputs and evaluating/rewarding their results have been successful in advancing science, technology and innovation. In the change concerned, from the printing technology to the electronic (and often digital) infrastructure, we will be able to conduct science in different ways. This doesn't mean necessarily a mandate for scientists to change their daily lives while efficiency and sustainability in an economical and scientific sense would be to a moderate encouragement and better motivation fo scientists to change the way of science. The author's intention is to discuss and promote Open Science in the international policy scene, science academies, and learned societies in order to optimize the way of science to enable better lives of scientists and citizens in the global community.
