The American Geophysical Union, a scientific society of more than 60,000 members worldwide, has undertaken important strategic initiatives to help address important GeoEthics related concerns and opportunities. AGU efforts such as its GeoHealth program and the Thriving Earth Exchange are two such critical initiatives designed to help promote GeoEthics-related needs, and specifically to help promote the well-being of humankind and sustainable environments. This presentation will discuss the progress, impacts and future opportunities in these two AGU programs, and other means to engage and promote Earth and space sciences and society.
