[MGI35-07] Acceleration program for Fugaku output generation: Unified view from cosmology to planets

*Junichiro Makino1 (1.Kobe University)

Keywords:Computational Science, Supercomputer Fugaku, HPC

Supercomputer Fugaku was completed in FY2020 and realized the theoretical peak performance of 537 PF in double precision. It is about a factor of 50 times faster than K computer. To make best use of Fugaku, "Acceleration program for Fugaku output generation" has been started. It is a successor for the previous "Social and scientific priority issues to be tackled by using the Post-K computer" and "Exploratory challenge" programs. In the filed of planetary science, one project, "Unified view from cosmology to planets" has been selected and started. In this talk, I'll overview the goal, structure and early results of this project.
